Nursen is a London based fine artist who moved to the UK in 1986. She started her serious creative endeavours at the turn of the millennium. Her surrealist style has been unending since then. Each piece is a representation of her dreams, opinions and observations.

A local art tutor, the late Terry Ffyffe, helped Nursen refine and strengthen her work up until the year 2007. She was then herself appointed as the new art tutor at Fairkytes Art Centre and has held the role ever since.

Nursen’s current collection of work consists almost entirely of oil paintings. Notable inspirations to her style include the works of Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Dorothea Tanning and Wassily Kandinsky.

The future is currently reserved for solo exhibitions only - with intentions of showcasing the new projects Nursen will have to come.​
